Buck Mt. at Silver Falls Park
About this event
We will hike this beautifully forested trail about 3-1/2 miles to the junction with the Perimeter and Catamount trails before returning the same way. There are no waterfalls on this trail, but we won't have to worry about sliding off into the canyon/creek if conditions are icy. Expect muddy conditions. As of Dec. 31, there was a HUGE tree over the trail, which may be hard for some people to climb over. Please contact the leader by noon the day prior for meeting times, etc.

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
