Alton Baker Skinner Butte
About this event
We will hike a loop around Alton Baker Park then cross the Peter DeFazio footbridge. From there we will walk the paved path to Skinners Butte and hike the forested trail to the top with views of Eugene and the surrounding hills.
Difficulty: Easy
Pace: Moderate
Hiking Distance: 4 to 5 miles RT
Elevation Gain: 300 feet
Driving Distance: 130 miles RT

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
