The Faroes are a remote archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean and an autonomous territory of Denmark. They include a set of 18 main islands about halfway between Scotland and Iceland.  Known for rugged coastlines, stunning scenery, challenging hiking trails, tremendous birdlife, wild and changeable weather, they are fast becoming discovered.

Chemeketan Mike Sequeira, spent 11 days there in 2025 and was treated to all of the above.  He will share some of those experiences with you and try to describe the practicalities of visiting.
