About this event
The trail climbs steadily up through second growth and some old growth forest. There are a few burned sections that open up views to Detroit Lake and Dome Rock. We will have lunch at the top with a great view of snow-covered Mt. Jefferson. The trail is rough and rocky in places so boots are recommended. Come prepared for possible snow patches on the upper trail. If snow level is low, we will do an alternate hike.
