About this event


Spend the day learning about setting traditional protection and building rock climbing anchors. In the afternoon we will be mock leading 4th class while placing pro and clipping into it and at the top setting an anchor then mock bringing up your second. cleaning the anchor then mock lowering. During this you will have an instructor there to help you with any question and they will be able to critique your placements and help you improve.
Prerequisites are:
completion of climb school or equivalent (previous authorization is required)
attended intro to lead climbing and anchor building (sport climb class)
Erin Dubuc is the leader for this event and will be accepting application and building the roster. If you would like to attend please email Erin at chopsw72@yahoo.com and include a brief climbing resume including what you would like to work on in this class. there is a mandatory classroom session for students held on April 3rd. See calendar for details. If you are on the roster for this class you will be on the roster for the classroom session also.
