West McMillan Spire (M3)

The Pickets are notorious for demanding approaches that often include a healthy dose of bushwhacking. West McMillan Spire is probably the "easiest" approach of them all, with very little bushwhacking and a mere 7.5 miles and 5900 feet of elevation gain to reach camp, haha. On summit day my watch recorded another 2500 feet of gain in 2.3 miles.

Climbers with strong legs and lungs, and the confidence to do some exposed Class 3 scrambling, are welcome to apply.

I will accept applications through Sunday, July 7th, and will choose a team of up to 6 climbers by end of day on Monday, July 8th. Feel free to reach out with any questions after reading the descriptions in the following links.
