Powell Butte - Portland
Powell Butte is an extinct cinder cone volcano and the Nature Park consists of 600 acres of forests of Western red cedar, groves of wild hawthorn trees, wetlands, and open meadows. Abundant wildlife populates the park including many birds of prey.
Pre-register with Sandra by noon the day before (10/7) for departure time (text preferred). Bring a snack or lunch as there is a perfect spot for a break.
