Cascade Head

This is a beautiful hike to one of the most scenic spots on the coast just north of Lincoln City.  We'll get views (weather permitting) of the coast to the south and of Salmon River Estuary. Boots and poles are recommended since part of the trail is over rocks and roots.  We'll have lunch/snack at the top of the trail.

Difficulty: medium

Pace: moderate

Hiking Distance: 6 miles RT

Elevation Gain: 1200 feet

Driving Distance: 115 miles RT

MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous

To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
