Meet the Cooks for the 2026 Outing

Head Cook for this year's Outing will be Mateo Livezey (left). With experience as a banquet chef, management in a bar and grill setting, and work in a German bakery, he comes to us with a variety of skills.  He graduated top of his class from Linn-Benton's Culinary Arts Program and will be applying all his diverse skills to providing delicious meals for our campers. When not working, he enjoys riding bikes, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Mateo describes himself as social and looks forward to meeting our club members.

 

Our Assistant Cook will be Robert Wagner (right). He has family ties in Alaska but is currently living in Sweet Home where he's working on the family ranch. Robert brings experience from his studies at Linn-Benton's Culinary Arts Program, working at Red Robin Catering, and as a line cook in a brewery. In his spare time, he enjoys growing over 40 varieties of peppers and gardening.
