We spent hours ambling through the wildflowers in the rock gardens and meadows on Cone Peak. We had the trail largely to ourselves, surprising on a Sunday during "peak bloom." Hikers were Nadene LeCheminant, Jean Hutchinson, Pam Thomas, and leader Roz Shirack.
