We had a beautiful, bright day for our umpteenth Post Thanksgiving Hike and Potluck. Sixteen happy Chemeks enjoyed the pristine wilderness of Silver Falls State Park to the crest of Perimeter Trail. At the junction, we encountered Bill Geibel and Linda Willnow waiting for us! No rest was accorded the crew as we had to make it down the hill and back to the Coleman house for the potluck. (Much grumbling about leader rushing folks...:)
Copious fabulous desserts accompanied Mary's soups. Somehow, everyone found a place to sit, a glass to fill, a bowl to fill and a tool, napkin and a smile. Chemeks are good cooks and fun folks!
